Cllr. Yetunde Adeshile ChPP, FAPM, RPP, MBA, shares her thoughts on her nomination, she says:
“I was confirmed as a finalist following over 90,000 nominations and votes this year. This is really amazing. I am over the moon about being nominated. It has been a very humbling surprise to be recognised for my achievements and contributions to society - as a change activist - channelling my energy for good causes.
“The main reason why being a good role model is important to me is because I work with young people, and women who need people who can inspire them to make the most of the opportunities, so that they can rise and become the next generation role models. Society needs good role models to help inspire others to achieve great outcomes in life. I am humbled to have reached the finals for the National Diversity Awards as a Positive Role Model. I look forward to continuing inspiring others to rise in society.
“I would like to use this opportunity to thank everyone who have supported me with their nomination and votes.”
