Planisware’s participation at the APM Conference 2024: A recap
Last month, Planisware had the pleasure of exhibiting at the APM Conference 2024, a premier event in the project management calendar. Our team from the MediaCity hub in Manchester travelled to the CBS Arena in Coventry for two days filled with networking, insightful speaker sessions and the latest updates in project and portfolio management (PPM) across various industries.
The APM Conference was bustling with energy, featuring sessions on innovative topics such as AI, data analytics and digital transformation within PPM. These sessions not only provided valuable insights but also sparked engaging discussions among attendees. The diverse range of topics ensured that there was something for everyone, from Directors and Senior Project Managers, to those new to the field, across various industries.
One of the highlights of the conference was the keynote address, which delved into the future of project management and the evolving role of technology in shaping industry practices. Attendees had the opportunity to gain experience from leading experts and gain a deeper understanding of how emerging trends are set to impact their work.
Jamie Taylor, our Sales & Marketing Director for Planisware UK&I, reflected on the event: “The APM Conference was very productive for us. We generated a substantial number of commercial leads and had the pleasure of reconnecting with familiar faces while meeting new ones. It's events like these that truly bring the project management community together.”
In addition to our presence at the conference, Planisware recently celebrated being named a leader in "The Forrester Wave™: Strategic Portfolio Management Tools, Q2 2024." This recognition underscores our commitment to excellence in PPM and strategic portfolio management (SPM). It was a proud moment for us to share this achievement with the conference attendees, further solidifying our reputation as a leader in the industry.
Events like the APM Conference are invaluable for building relationships within the industry and enhancing brand awareness. They provide opportunities to engage with like-minded professionals and discuss the latest trends and challenges in project management. The networking opportunities alone are worth the attendance, as they allow for the exchange of ideas and best practices that can be implemented in our own projects.
Looking ahead, we’re looking forward to the Women in Project Management conference on 26th September in London. This event promises to be another excellent platform for connecting with industry peers and advancing our mission of promoting best practices in project management. We’re particularly excited about the focus on diversity and inclusion within the field, which aligns with our values and commitment to supporting an inclusive work environment.
In summary, our participation in the APM Conference 2024 was a success. We look forward to continuing our engagement with the project management community and exploring new opportunities to contribute to the industry’s growth and development.
